Heyco-Tite EMC-2 Brass Liquid Tight Cordgrips with Metric Hubs are ideal wherever Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection or Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is needed.

Heyco-Tite EMC-2 Brass Liquid Tight Cordgrips have an innovative contact spring which, due to its strong clamping abilities, virtually guarantees a secure shielded tap connection. This contact spring can be precisely positioned due to its clearly defined limit stop which makes installation simple. The clamping technique ensures that the cable can be rotated, pushed and easily dismantled during mounting. The cordgrips provide excellent 360° shield contact with the contact sleeve due to the braided shield which runs into the gland. The combination of the sealing insert and the contact socket guarantees a constant contact quality with minimal transfer impedance. These cordgrips offer excellent inner cable protection and their long threads are for use in standard or thick panels. Heyco-Tite EMC Brass Liquid Tight Cordgrips are constructed of Nickel-Plated Brass providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability, with a TPE Sealing Gland. Used in clearance or threaded holes, multiple sizes for flexible cord diameters are UL recognized under the component program of UL File E51579 to both Canadian and US requirements. They are IP 68 and 69K rated and have a temperature rating of -40°F (-40°C) to 212°F (100°C).
